662RX 90, 140 and 180 Nm actuator

Types 662R2123 (90 Nm), 662R2124 (140 Nm) and 662R2125 (180 Nm) are electric LAMTEC actuators that move dampers and valves in firing plants. They are TÜV-approved for operation with ETAMATIC, FMS and VMS and also suit other combustion and industrial applications. The standard version runs on 230 V AC / 50 Hz, uses three-point step control and turns through 90° in 60 seconds. When ordering, 115 V AC or 230 V AC supply at 50 or 60 Hz, running times of 30 or 40 seconds and angular displacements of 120°, 135°, 180° or 270° can be selected.

In the three-point step version, position is reported by a TÜV-approved 5 kΩ conductive-plastic potentiometer from NOVOTEC or CONTELEC, coupled positively and without backlash; a wire-wound 100 Ω, 200 Ω or 1 kΩ potentiometer can be chosen instead. This version is supplied only with an electric manual override operated by an OPEN/CLOSE push button. With a 60-second running time, the actuators satisfy the safety requirements for tested potentiometers coupled in this way; the running time can change with the limit switches and potentiometers fitted.

Optional integrated electronic control drives the actuator with a 4…20 mA signal; this version reports its position as 4…20 mA and is supplied without manual override. With ETAMATIC, FMS or VMS, this feedback does not count as a fail-safe position indication, so an additional TÜV-approved 5 kΩ conductive-plastic potentiometer is mandatory. Housing and cover are made of aluminium, and the degree of protection is IP65; the ambient temperature range is -10…+60 °C, extending down to -30 °C with the optional 15 W housing heater with thermostat. A coupling or lever has to be ordered separately.
