Rubber vulcanising autoclave
Autoclave heated by electricity, thermal oil or steam that vulcanises seals, hoses and technical rubber parts
TSB Energy
- 1 … 70 bar (per project)
- Ø ≤ 5500 mm · L ≤ 61 m
- Temperature accuracy ±1 °C
- PED · ASME VIII · EAC (GOST)
The rubber vulcanising autoclave cures rubber compounds under high temperature and pressure to the required hardness, strength, elasticity and sealing performance. It is chosen for thick, complex or multi-layer products where press curing falls short: seals, heavy-duty hoses, insulation parts, rubber-covered rollers, rubber pipes and balls, cables, shoes, latex belts, and tyre vulcanising, retreading and repair.
TSB Energy builds these autoclaves for 1–70 bar, with diameters of up to 5500 mm and lengths of up to 61 m. Heat comes from electricity, thermal oil, or direct or indirect steam, and the vessel is pressurised with air or nitrogen. Baffles drive turbulent air from front to back for ±1 °C temperature accuracy, and the oil cooling unit works through 3-way proportional valves with 0.1 % resolution. Temperature and pressure are programmed for each product recipe. Turnkey supply can add loading trolleys, a steam generator and air compressors.
Design follows PED 2014/68/EU, ASME VIII Div. 1, EAC (GOST), EN 13445 and AD 2000-Merkblatt; the autoclave can be horizontal or vertical, with one or two doors. The shell is P355GH/P460NL plate and the structure is insulated with 50 mm of ceramic wool. Overpressure and overtemperature protection, sensor-monitored and mechanical door locks, Pilz safety relays and emergency shutdown are fitted; a patented safety engages above 0.1 bar and keeps the door closed until pressure is zero. The autoclave ships on a single skid and is ready once power and cooling water are connected.
